Note: John Richardson was suppossed to have gone to the California Gold
Rush. The above picture confirms he was in California at some time. There
was a John Richardson in the 1850 Federal census in El Dorado Co., CA :
white, male, age 30, born in KY, and "Digging for gold". In some old letters
from the Reno brothers from CA, addressed to William S. and John F. one
could speculate that John's middle initial was "F".
