George Elwood Richardson Sr. (B 7/27/85 D 3/30/70)

"Wood" married Mary Hester Parsons 9/7/1921. At the time of marriage, "Wood" was general manager of Mitchell and Goslee Hardware company on Dock St. in Salisbury, MD. Wood and Mary had two children, George E. Richardson Jr. (Pete) and Stanton I. Richardson. They lived at 207 E. Church St. in the 1920's at the Claiborne Hotel which was owned by Mary Hesters father, I. Stanton Parsons. Wood ran for the Maryland House of Delegates in 1934 but "resigned in the intrest of party harmony". He formed the company Wood Richardson & Sons Roofing and Sheet Metal and ran it until his death at age 85.
